1. Are your handbags authentic?

Yes — every item we sell is guaranteed 100% authentic. We carefully inspect and authenticate all handbags using a multi-step process, including third-party verification via our trusted partner, Entrupy. We stand behind the authenticity of our products.

2. What condition are the handbags in?

Our handbags are vintage or preloved and may show signs of wear consistent with age and use. Each product listing includes detailed condition notes and high-resolution photos and videos. We classify items as:

  • Pristine: Like new, no visible signs of use
  • Excellent: Very light wear, well cared for
  • Very Good: Noticeable signs of use, but still in great shape
  • Good: Visible wear; priced accordingly

3. Do you accept returns?

Due to the nature of vintage and preloved items, all sales are final. However, if you believe your item was misrepresented, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery, and we’ll work with you to make it right.

4. Can I reserve or hold an item?

We do not offer holds. Our pieces are one-of-a-kind and tend to sell quickly. We recommend acting fast or signing up for restock alerts if you’re eyeing a particular style.

5. Do you offer payment plans or financing?

Yes! We offer installment options at checkout through trusted partners like Shop PayAfterpay, or Klarna (depending on your location). Just select your preferred payment method at checkout.

6. Where do you ship?

We currently ship domestically within the United States and Canada. Shipping options and rates are displayed at checkout. we also offer international shipping to select countries via special order. Email us at arttefina@gmail.com to place an order outside of the US or Canada. 

7. How long does shipping take?

Orders are typically processed within 2–4 business days. Delivery timelines vary by destination, but most domestic orders arrive within 3–7 business days. You’ll receive tracking info once your order ships.

8. What are your shipping rates?

We offer flat-rate shipping: $15 for all orders to the contiguous United States and $30 for shipments to Canada. Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico is available for $25.

Shipping rates to all other countries will be calculated and communicated to you via email during the creation of your special order.

9. Do you insure packages?

Yes. All orders placed through our website are insured up to the full value of your purchase, giving you peace of mind with every shipment.

10. What happens if my package is lost or damaged?

All shipments are insured, but if your order arrives damaged or tracking shows it's lost, contact us immediately so we can guide you with filiing a claim and assist with next steps.

11. Is local pickup available?

If you’re located near Princeton, NJ you can select local pickup during checkout. We’ll contact you to schedule a pickup time from our showroom after your order is placed and payment has cleared.

12. Can I shop in person?

Yes! We offer private showroom appointments by request in Princeton, NJ. Please contact us via our contact page or Instagram to schedule.

13. Do you buy handbags or accept trade-ins?

We occasionally purchase bags for consignment or accept select trade-ins. Email us at arttefina@gmail.com with photos, videos, details, bag condition, and year and we'll let you know if it's a fit for our inventory.

14. How do I care for my vintage handbag?

Vintage bags require gentle handling. Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight and moisture. Store in a dust bag, and use archival stuffing to maintain shape. We’re happy to offer care tips for your specific bag—just reach out!
